Refund & Cancellation Policy

Nature of Service
Hastarekha is a digital service that provides AI-generated palm readings. Readings are generated instantly and delivered digitally upon successful payment. There are no physical goods involved, and no shipping or delivery is applicable.
Refund Eligibility
Since the readings are digital products delivered instantly, refunds are generally not available once a reading has been successfully generated and displayed to you.
However, you are eligible for a full refund in the following cases:
- Service failure: Payment was successfully processed but the reading was not generated or delivered due to a technical error (e.g., server error, API failure).
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same reading due to a payment processing error.
Refund Request Window
All refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the transaction. Requests made after 24 hours will not be eligible for a refund.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at hastarekha.support@gmail.com with the following details:
- Your email address or phone number used during payment
- Date and approximate time of the transaction
- Razorpay payment ID or transaction reference (if available)
- A brief description of the issue
Refund Processing
Once your refund request is reviewed and approved:
- The refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
- The refund will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.
- The exact time for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Cancellation
Since the Service generates readings on demand and delivers them instantly upon payment, there is no subscription or recurring charge to cancel. Each transaction is a one-time payment for a single reading.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The reading was successfully generated and displayed, but you are unsatisfied with the content
- You uploaded an unclear or incorrect image (e.g., not a palm image)
- You changed your mind after making the payment and viewing the reading
